A Comprehensive Plan for Building a Restorative Campus
Restorative Circles, Conferences + Team Meetings
These intentionally structured sessions are bespoke to the needs of your team. Our approach includes pre-work designed to build trust in the process and ensure participant preparedness. Circles and conferences are designed to address dynamics uncovered in pre-meetings and to set the stage so that effective repair is possible. Intentional follow-up support is available to provide post-coaching to participants to ensure unhealthy patterns do not re-emerge and healthier community can take hold.
Restorative Practices Training for Individuals + Teams
B. Education offers certified trainers who will offer 1-1, small group and organizational development sessions to teach leaders and teams how to effectively employ proactive and reactive restorative techniques to be used individually and organizationally to support healthy interaction around conflict and to create cultures of empathy and accountability.
Rapid Campus Response
When harm, conflict, or crisis emerges on campus, leaders are often asked to respond quickly, while holding care for students, staff, and the broader community.
B. Education Strategies provides rapid restorative response support for campuses navigating moments such as bias incidents, public conflict, protest escalation, leadership crises, or community fracture. Our work focuses on helping institutions repair harm where it has occurred, support those most impacted, and create space for collective processing and healing, while also strengthening institutional readiness for what comes next.
This support may include immediate consultation with senior leaders, facilitation of restorative processes with involved parties, campus-wide dialogue sessions, and guidance on communication, policy alignment, and follow-up training. Each response is tailored to the specific context and culture of the campus.
If your campus is facing a situation that feels urgent or unresolved, we invite you to reach out. We’re here to listen, help you think through next steps, and provide support where it’s most useful as quickly as we can.
What This Can Look Like on a Campus
Repairing Team Mistrust
During a period of senior leadership transition, one campus experienced deep mistrust, exhaustion, and uncertainty. B. Education partnered quickly with leaders and staff to design a restorative process that rebuilt trust, honored loss, and supported the transition ahead.
Result: staff felt seen and reconnected, and new leadership entered with clarity and credibility.

Responding to Campus Crisis
Following a highly visible bias incident involving a student organization, campus leaders needed to repair harm and support healing across the community. B. Education facilitated restorative processes with the student groups involved, campus-wide dialogue sessions, and leadership-student conversations focused on prevention and trust.
Result: policy adjustments, stronger response capacity, and renewed commitment to ongoing dialogue.
